Yep, that was me reading "Why Mummy Drinks". I follow Gil Sims on Facebook (Peter and Jane and Mummy Too) and she's hilarious.

That's a very pretty kitty! :) I have a black cat at my house similar to this one, but male.

Oh my goodness, your new kitty is the spitting image of my old cat. We had to put her down last year due to kidney failure. They are beautiful cats, the colour is amazing and the temperament is so loving and cuddly. She will make such a great family member.

Mine was a guts too. The photo's are beautiful, it's nice to see she's found a warm and loving home. I'm sure she'll repay you with many years of head butts and warm cuddling.

Hahaha ... she cuddles occasionally - usually right before I have to go to the gym or to work - but she's a very, very busy and important kitty. Places to go, people to see, things to kill :-)

That's okay though. I like that she's independent. She likes it when I'm home, but she's perfectly happy to do her own thing even when I am.

Ours was very independent when younger as well and unfortunately killed a few birds in her early years, even with a bell. :(

She became way more affectionate as she got older. She always liked her pats but in her older years she would climb on us and stick her face into our face while she was patted.

I still miss her. They become such a huge part of your life. Enjoy.
