Keep on the nuts, calorific and good for you......I like smoked almonds, great snack before bed and I sleep like a log when I do have them.

Well, I'm sort of at my target now. Nine stone, ie 126 lbs, ie about 57 kg.
I've lost 25 lbs. I'm probably at my thinnest since my mid-20s.

I look amazing, and feel much much better.

It can be done! It's easy to blame middle-age, blah-di-blah, but the fact is, it is very easy to eat a lot of calories all day every day. Self-indulgence, greed, gluttony and complacency are what make us gain weight. Give those up, and the weight will follow!

I just have to keep reminding myself, in the immortal words of Kate Moss: Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.

Congrats! I found it very easy to lose weight in my 30's. Not so much now that I'm in my 50's. :(
