Sorry to hear about Kate, Carry On, I haven't been on here in a while. We lost our beloved spaniel a year ago. I always knew it would be hard but it floored me,. We're at the stage now where we can talk about him and laugh about his antics without tearing up (most of the time anyway). I thought that at least I would be able to go away on holiday without the guilt of leaving him, but 2020 had other ideas!

^^^Thanks, xamra. We're getting there. We're still in the habit of making allowances for Kate-Who-Is-No-More. For example, she had a limit of about six hours for staying in the house without a potty break. We were running around yesterday, and I thought, "We've got to start back to let Kate out--" and realized, no, we don't need to do that. So kind of bittersweet. It was nice not having to rush, but crappy at the same time.
