^ To be fair they don't overplay it, there's a Dracula 'experience' which is very 'end of the pier' and that's about it really. Though they do have a couple of Goth weekends (one near Halloween, obviously) and if you don't mind people and crowds it's great to see everyone Steampunk'd up.
We did stay at a dinky themed B&B a few years back, bats hanging from the bedposts etc which was quite cute and the breakfast was brilliant, but you wouldn't want to stay more than a night or two as it is quite cramped.

If you do ever get there then 'Trenchers' has to be on your list, it's pricey but the best fish and chip restaurant EVER!!! They seem to have expanded their menu, last time I was there they didn't do anything other than fish, fresh off boat...They even have a chalkboard up telling you which trawlers and fishing boats have provided the the days fish.
