I've been doing curbside pickup for groceries, and I couldn't find a beer I really wanted, so I opted for a 12-pack of Yuengling Golden Pilsner.

I've never had any Yuengling that I've liked. This one hasn't changed that.

I picked up a bottle of cointreau at the liquor store today, so I made White Lady for our before-dinner cocktail (cointreau, gin, and lemon juice).

We had chardonnay with dinner.

I got some Weihenstephaner Festbier, and six-pack of Samuel Smith's Perry. We had some of that over the weekend, as well as a very sweet white table wine from a winery in Indiana we like to visit.

Just found out why I've had a helluva time finding any kirsch...It's not longer approved for sale by the Ohio Commerce Department! Now I've got to drive 75 minutes to Kentucky to get a bottle! 😠

^^That's weird - why would Kirsch not be allowed to be sold in Ohio?

Ha, you only need to drive 75 minutes to get out of state? The fastest way for me to get out of my home province is to drive to another country! If I drive south I can get out of Ontario in about 2-1/2 hours (not that I could, or would want to, cross the border into the US right now), if I drive east it takes a good 5+ hours, and if I drive west it's over 15 hours!

Found a bottle of Austrian red wine in Aldi, a zweigelt. Austrian wine pretty hard to get in the UK, and I'm not sure I ever saw a bottle of red here. I haven't tried it yet, but the ones I've had in Austria are generally pretty good.

^^^ Overall, I've been very happy with the wine and beer I've gotten from ALDI. We have some of their Belgian witbier in the fridge now, and that's where I usually get my bubbly.

A negroni - Campari, sweet vermouth, and gin (but I used vodka). Pretty strong, but it’s Friday night, I’m on vacation, and I need to relax.

Due to the lockdown we've been ordering alcohol online. We placed an order with Santa Rita vineyard, which is just up the road. They also sell some beer, whisky, etc. It turns out that there was a problem with their system and they were out of stock of the wine we had ordered. They offered me a more expensive wine as a replacement, without charging the difference. We had it with the barbecue - http://donapaula.com/wine/dona-paula-1100/. It was really good! The best thing about Santa Rita is that things arrive the next day since we are so close.
