I made peach baked oatmeal for breakfast. I'm trying to eat as many of the delicious local peaches as I can while they're still in season!

We had a couple of bananas that were looking pretty spotty this morning, so I made banana-walnut muffins for breakfast today.

I made a proper almond cake (pithiviers) and it turned out quite nice!

We had a ton of leftover pulled pork yesterday, so I’m making burger buns to serve it on.

This is one of the nice things about working from home - the dough needs to be re-folded every hour for about 3 hours, which isn’t time consuming but impossible if you’re at the office.

Just waiting on the final rise now, then they’ll go into the oven.

I use ciabatta buns for burgers. I have a great breadmaker ciabatta recipe, which tastes just like grandma used to make, if your grandma was Italian. and if ciabatta hadn't only been invented in 1982.

Lemon-poppyseed cupcakes. Easiest recipe, just dump everything into the bowl and mix a couple of minutes. I just do a drizzled glace icing with a bit of lemon juice and Triple Sec for flavour on top.

I think I finally managed to get super-soft 100% whole wheat bread...make it with some white bread flour, so 90% whole wheat, I think. :)
