I find it unbearably cute when my cats snore.

Moving. Ugh. And I don't even have that much stuff to move.

My cat snored louder the older she got, and sometimes I'd hear her over the video game in my headphones. It was freaking adorable.

I got a call from HR today offering my job back. I go back to work next week. I get 2 N95 masks and that's it. I guess I better figure out how to sanitize and make them last a long time. I've made a bunch of homemade cloth mask with filter pockets. It's more to protect the patients than me anyway. I'll be doing window visits to start, so I'll be sitting outside at least.

Good news on the job situation, at least. Glad you're back to work, though I wish it were under better circumstances. Obviously, you do a good job, or they wouldn't have called.

I came across a word today that I've never encountered before, "shippon"....apparently is a cow barn or shed.

Seems totally reasonable for her to be upset - https://www.newsweek.com/this-exhausted ... ed-1510541.

I remember this time I was babysitting, and I took the kid to a hockey game for a nap. I swear those asshole fans would not shut up, and they kept playing music *really* loud. It was really inappropriate considering I had a tired kid who just needed some peace and quiet.

Lol! It's like that one post where a mom says people without kids have no right getting coffee from coffee shops because they NEED the service more. Bitch please, you're a glorified babysitter; the rest of us in that coffee shop need that caffeine for the 6 million projects we have on the go with our REAL jobs, for the lack of sleep due to the stress of making ends meet (your husband is probably right in line behind me needing that little shot of coffee just to make himself go back home to you and your responsibilities), and for actually socializing with intellectuals who aren't just going to talk about the same shitty diapers and random expulsion your kids make.

I'm all for adult only flights and cinemas where I don't have to pay the same amount of money just so I can sit and listen to some kid crying or screaming for hours. You don't see me getting in their faces and telling them they have no right though.

^^I agree she was quite right to be upset - I mean, why would anyone feel the need to grind beans in a shop which exists purely to sell beverages which are created from ground beans?

In all seriousness, I saw the original thread on Reddit yesterday and she was getting just roasted in the comments. It was glorious.
